5-7 Nov: CSAS Advanced User Training [FA005]
This three-day course provides a detailed technical presentation of all aspects of CSAS for all CSAS users, CSAS trainers, CSAS administrators. Users will then be able to operate all modules of the software and have the knowledge required to administer networks of CSAS users, and provide training and support to colleagues. The course is scenario-based and all activities will be presented in the context of a fictional but realistic investigation.
12-16 Nov: RFPS City & Guilds Accredited Training [FA014]
This five-day programme enables experienced Radio Frequency Propagation Survey (RFPS) engineers, who have undertaken surveys, to gain a more detailed, technical understanding of this subject. In-depth overviews of radio technologies, cellular systems and the operation of radio cells are provided, with examinations of survey techniques and survey devices. Successful completion provides a City & Guilds qualification in RFPS.
10 & 11 Dec: Next Generation Comms Data [FA017]
This two-day course for new and experienced Communications Data Analysts examines new and upcoming forms of communication, network types and calling techniques – 4G, 5G, VoLTE, SRVCC, WiFi Calling and VoIP among others. It provides an overview of how these new services and technologies work and looks at the Call Detail Record (CDR) data that they provide. The purpose is to prepare CD analysts for the types of data that will become common in the near future and how to extract evidence from them.
