Accurate analysis of medium and long-term threat, vulnerability and risk of an organisation is imperative in driving informed decision making and resource allocation.

This course has been designed to enhance analytical skills, decision making and recommendations within strategic environments by providing an understanding of the application of analytical methodologies to identify the medium and longer-term threats relating to organisational strategies. Instruction is given on the role and responsibilities of the Strategic Analyst and the role of strategic analysis in informing and driving the decision-making process. Further, instruction is given on key strategic analysis concepts such as threat, vulnerability and risk and the practicalities of evaluating the opportunities and challenges faced by an organisation.

Accredited by Continuing Professional Development (CPD), this course offers an externally recognised qualification.

This course has been developed and is delivered by a former Senior Intelligence Analyst with extensive strategic experience during their 30-year law enforcement career at community, force, regional, national, and international levels.
