This course is designed to develop an understanding of and capability to use analysis techniques and methodologies to inform decisions making within intelligence led environments. The course references and applies some of the methodologies developed and applied by Heuer, Pherson and Ratcliffe. Instruction is given on hypothesis generation, back casting, SWOT analysis, key assumptions checks and risk modelling. The training will challenge mindsets, open debate, and seek alternative critical thinking processes.
This course has been developed and is delivered by a former Senior Intelligence Analyst with extensive operational and strategic experience during their 30-year law enforcement career at community, force, regional, national, and international levels.
