Modern slavery takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.
Forensic Analytics Ltd provides world-leading software, training and consultancy for fast, accurate and cost-effective cell site analysis. Founded in 2013, we are based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. Our company operates in commercial and public sector environments in the UK.
As a software company, Forensic Analytics neither operates in an industry, nor has an extensive range of local or international suppliers, where modern slavery or human trafficking would be a risk. Our company does not enter into intricate supply chains, have multiple levels of contracting or subcontracting, or partner with businesses based in regions of the world where labour/employment laws are minimal or poorly enforced.
Nevertheless, we have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We do not wish to work with any business that is knowingly involved with any form of slavery or human trafficking as part of its operations.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain predominantly consists of:
– Suppliers of products and services used or incorporated into our own product and service offerings (for example, software development, support service and cloud service providers)
– Suppliers of products and services relating to our business operations (for example, ICT hardware, facilities, stationery, marketing, catering and cleaning)
– Professional services (for example, lawyers, accountants, marketing consultants)
We take care to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not exist at Forensic Analytics or in any part of our supply chain and we expect our suppliers and partners to maintain the same standard.
Employment with Forensic Analytics is an expression of free choice and is there no forced, bonded or involuntary labour. Prior to employing any member of staff, we validate and review all relevant documentation to ensure that they have the legal right to work in the UK.
All our employees are treated fairly and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, marital status, national origin, citizenship, or cultural, religious or personal beliefs.
Forensic Analytics provides a safe, hygienic working and training environment at our Head Office. Salary payments are made to employees directly and are not deferred, delayed or withheld. All deductions are made lawfully and transparently, employees are paid more than the minimum wage and do not work hours in excess of the number permitted by law.
We can state that we have no slavery, forced labour or human trafficking within our organisation, but we recognise the need to be vigilant both within our own company and in relation to the partners we work with.
Our Management Team will take responsibility for implementing this statement and its objectives. They will ensure that adequate resources are in place to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
