The role holder will be part of the Service and Operations team, responsible for developing, leading and managing Change Management processes and operations. Service management is critical in ensuring everything we do, delivers value to both our business and our customers, through seamless and frictionless software deployments, equipment provision, services and support.  

Qualifications/ Experience/Knowledge:

  • Experience as an IT Services Change lead
  • Responsibility for service management reporting for Change processes detailing service transparency and trend analysis.
  • Ability to tell a story of performance through data analysis for both internal and external teams.
  • Set and manage KPI’s to drive down failed and unauthorized changes.
  • Training of internal teams and adherence reporting.
  • Deputise for Head of Operations and Service, Service Desk analyst and Major Incident Management
  • Ability to work to set targets and objectives
  • SLA monitoring and management
  • Responsible for quality monitoring
  • Development of the Change Process

Desirable

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science
  • ITIL4® Practitioner

The successful candidate would be required to undergo security clearance to at least NPPV+SC level, we will not be able to hire candidates who are unlikely to achieve such a clearance level which requires 3 years UK residency and history.

Service management is critical in ensuring everything we do, delivers value to both our business and our customers, through seamless and frictionless software deployments, equipment provision, services and support.  

Qualifications/ Experience/Knowledge:

  • Experience as an IT Services Analyst and engineer
  • Responsibility for service management reporting for Problem and Incident processes detailing service transparency and trend analysis.
  • Ability to tell a story of performance through data analysis for both internal and external teams.
  • Set and manage KPI’s to drive down recurring problems.
  • Training of internal teams and adherence reporting.
  • Deputise for Head of Operations and Service, Service Desk analyst and Major Incident Management
  • Ability to work to set targets and objectives
  • SLA monitoring and management
  • Responsible for quality monitoring
  • Development of Incident and Problem Processes
  • Experience with end user compute including Active Directory, Office 365 and Citrix
  • Able to be SC Cleared

 

Desirable

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science

Test Engineer                                 Ref: Dev202011

Our development team uses an agile model for delivery.  Reporting to the Development Manager, the Test Engineer will play a critical part the delivery schedule.  The Test Engineer’s contribution to the development teams output includes to strategic input into the company’s operational goals and tactically through the provision of quality assurance and testing for the development section of the business.

Key Experience

Essentials

To assist the development team on all testing matters including:

  • Creating and maintaining automated test suites
  • Creating automated functional tests
  • Manual exploratory testing
  • Performance & load testing
  • Functional testing
  • Creating and maintaining manual test plans and test data (in Word and Excel)
  • Release acceptance testing
  • Regression testing
  • Completing test records
  • Reporting bugs to development team
  • Working within a Scrum agile process
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
  • High standard of written and spoken English
  • Patient manner, with the ability to explain issues and provide instructions clearly and understandably
  • Motivated, self-reliant individual

 

Desirable

  • Recent experience of UFT will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of NUnit and xUnit may be an advantage
  • Test certification such as ISTQB would be an advantage
